Hi! My name is Dianne DeNecochea. I am the founder of ProActive Volley, educating and guiding volleyball players and their parents as they navigate the college volleyball recruiting process. I played college volleyball at the University of Tennessee, pro indoor in Europe for 5 seasons, and pro beach volleyball on the AVP (11 seasons) and FIVB (4 seasons). I am the parent of two daughters that are college volleyball players, which is how I started this journey to becoming a recruiting coach and advisor.

I believe players should be PROACTIVE, not only in the classroom and on the volleyball court, but also in the recruiting process.

Many high school age volleyball players dream of playing volleyball in college and don’t know HOW or WHERE to start.

I educate and coach high school age volleyball players and their parents on how to start the recruiting process, how to communicate with college coaches, strategize and organize their process, and what to do each step of the way.

The recruiting process is inherently intimidating and overwhelming. Even tougher in the current environment. Dianne does a superb job of providing recruiting advice. Her scope of experience as a former collegiate athlete as well as a professional indoor and beach volleyball player allows her to provide information hard to come by from simply doing your own research online about schools. I cannot emphasize enough the value in that. She CARES. She not only teaches your daughter the skills to get recruited (compiling lists, assisting with emails, emphasizing being conscientious about the process) she makes you really think about where you want to end up, and is it right for me? My daughter was a "covid recruit" up against incredible odds with more than 500 girls in the portal and Dianne was there the whole way as a mentor as well as an incredible source of support for my daughter (and for me). I would recommend Dianne to anyone seeking help in getting recruited. It's too big of a process to go it alone and she really knows what she's doing.
